PaloServices, a leader in the internet analytics market and with strong reflections on innovation and novelty, is the only Greek company that conducts systematic Natural Language Processing (NLP) research on the Greek language.
In the framework of the action “Research – Create – Innovate” we collaborated with the University of the Aegean & Panteion University aiming:
- To create new innovative services such as finding the 8 emotions in the texts and
- To create a smart algorithm that can rank all social accounts from all social networks based on the impact in an objective way.
The two leading researchers of the project, George Alexandridis and Nikolaos Maniatis, presented the following two research papers at the 25th Annual Panhellenic Conference on Informatics organized by the University of Thessaly, in Volos:
- Detection of emotions on Greek social media using two-way coding representations by Transformers
- Bibliometrics for Measuring Social Media Influence: Evaluate the use of the h-Index as a measure of Twitter users’ influence.
The participants showed particular interest in both research projects and participated with many questions.
