On the occasion of Beyond Expo, our team conducted a focused analysis on the Greek public’s perception of AI using our proprietary social media intelligence tools.
The findings reveal a diverse landscape of opinions. Approximately 4 out of 10 Greeks express a positive sentiment toward AI, recognizing its potential to enhance productivity, improve healthcare, and expand access to education. Another 42% of the conversation remains neutral, reflecting objective coverage of AI-related developments. However, 20% of the discourse expresses concern, highlighting issues such as displaced jobs, privacy risks and ethical challenges.
This sentiment breakdown underscores the critical role of public perception in the evolution of AI. As Panagiotis Tsantilas noted during his talk, “Understanding how society feels about emerging technologies is essential. It helps us not only build better products—but also more human-centered solutions.”
At Palowise, we remain committed to transforming digital conversations into meaningful insights, empowering businesses, policymakers, and innovators to make data-driven decisions in a rapidly changing world.
